The aim of the Seamus Mullins Racing Club is to allow one and all to have a taste of racehorse ownership. From this, Partnerships/ Syndications and sole ownerships opportunities will be born here at Wilsford Stables. The main ethos is inclusion for everyone, as much racing and good fun as possible and above all else finding those all-important winners!

Racing Manager- Brett Stevens is still your initial contact. Email updates regarding your horses and entry and ticket information will be supplied by our Racing Secretary, Steph Tooze. Entries are made 6 days in advance and horses declared 48 hours before the race. Please refer all correspondence regarding ticket requests, SMRC gallop mornings and any general questions to our email Info@SeamusMullins.co.uk which will be picked up by one of the SMRC team.
We host regular SMRC gallop mornings where your horses will be exercised with as many of you present as possible and attendance is very much encouraged! This is your opportunity to come to the yard, see your horses and get the inside knowledge of what’s happening at Wilsford. Please do take the opportunity to bring anyone who has expressed an interest in SMRC to these mornings, we will hopefully make them feel right at home.
As in previous years, every member will be entitled to an entry badge every time an SMRC horse runs. Additional badges can usually be purchased on the gate at a reduced rate should you wish to bring along a friend/ partner or introduce people to the Racing Club.
We hold a Summer BBQ for all members with great food and plenty of drink! It is usually a great occasion with many attending and lots of fun and general information for Racing Club members with the Club horses also shown.
Our annual Open Morning in September is the starting point and an important SMRC day. The yard is open to the public for 2 hours in the morning with various demonstrations throughout and coincides with National Racehorse Week.
For the membership year 2023/2024 we anticipate in the region of 25+ days racing for all members to be able to attend in addition to all the other perks already mentioned. At the end of the one year membership, Club Members will receive an equal distribution of 50% of all prize money won over that period.
All of this for the cost of £780/£2.14 per day. We offer a standing order monthly payment option over 10 months (£80 per month December to September Inc), please speak to the office about this option.
